What is it that the 3D Innovation Center and the 'Scorpions' have in common?
Mostly the interest in 3D! At first you might think, that 3D Innovations and the worldwide known rockband, that is playing at the top of its league since 1965, are not really fitting. Quite the opposite seems to be the case! The 'Scorpions' was the first German rockband to film its concert in 3D. During a stop of their 'Get your Sting and Blackout Tour' in Saarbrucken, Germany the famous band let our partner Gerd Schultze, producer, director and CEO of Music-Delight GmbH, shoot the concert with an eleven-camera-3D-HD-wagon and exclusively release a 3D Blu-Ray.
On March 9th, 2012 the 'Scorpions' followed the invitation by the 3D Innovation Center and our partner Gerd Schultze and visited the biggest IT trade fair, the CeBIT in Hannover, Germany to be testimonials for 3D. After the screening of a few songs of 'Scorpions Live in 3D' the band members Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs held an autograph session for the enthusiastic visitors of the fair.
